THE ORIGIN
India has a strong cultural and historical bond with the word of fine & excellent fragrances/perfumery. The “Kannauj” located in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh has long been recognized for its production of high quality & potent perfumery ingredients and traditional Indian attars(Perfume oil). Kannauj is rightfully referred to as the “Perfume Capital of India”, surrounded by silt-rich fields that cultivate an astounding variety of exotic flowers, scented grasses, roses, and herbs.
Perhaps that’s why poet and former Uttar Pradesh governor Shri Munshi stated, “Visit Kannauj if you want to see a fragrance town. It is a form of art, culture, and legacy.
THE CRAFTSMANSHIP
The traditional art of making attar, which is a form of natural, alcohol-free perfume derived from flowers, herbs, and other botanical sources. The process of crafting attar has deep cultural and historical roots.We make attar through steam distillation, a method that has been used for centuries. This process extracts essential oils from plants without the use of alcohol, which sets attar apart from many modern perfumes.
